Going green with your beauty can still be glam 🌟
The government hasn’t passed a federal law regulating the cosmetic industry since 1938. So, many of our everyday products contain carcinogenic and toxic ingredients that are hidden in labels, which over time can affect our well being. If you are hesitant about making the switch in your lip products you can rest assured that I've found some great clean alternatives look great.
My issue with lip products in particular is that not only do we put these toxin containing products on our skin, since they are on our mouth we actually consume small quantities over time.
So I was on a mission to find lipstick that is formulated with ingredients that are safe to put on (and even in) my body, rather than worrying whether my cosmetics might slowly be having some adverse effect on my body.
If you're like me and want to know a better option here's my list of favorite clean ingredient lip products I have researched and actually tried.
